J-goth and Doujin Metal

Ever since I listened to the album  少女 ~D~  from Eine Kleine I have delved full force into this brand of symphonic J-goth metal. I am content to have found another genre that caters to my lofty tastes as D'va;;;;;;5 and Team Grimoire does.

I have been wanting to write something worthwhile to accompany this ground breaking piece. Every time I listen to it I am left in tatters. It was so good that I had almost given up on being able to find the right words to express the sort of sentiments it has evoked from me. It was so powerful that I think it might have brought out some of my best work.

The totality of our most agonizing moments can crush our spirit to bits and consign us to expire in a gutter with abject disgrace. From a most hallowed beyond the songs of the most nobly ruined call out to us. Our innermost injuries are given succor by a cathartic lullaby that is sung with the benevolent grace of a tragic heroine. All the while encouraging us to keep pushing forward no matter how grisly the demise is which awaits us.

Because real art brings people to their knees.
